    Hello Industry and ASTRO Members,

We will use this thread to determine table topics for the new Presidential Symposium format as part of the three-year transformation. As outlined in the slideshow on the community this will be the micro level side of the new format.

As an attendee, what table topics would you like to see? What would interest you? Are there popular topics you are aware of that you are interested in learning more about? These table topics will be akin to a five to ten-person study group located within the Innovation Hub. Post your ideas below and we will compile them as list grows.

Don't forget we are also looking for attendees willing to host these discussions. If interested comment below or reach out directly to Laura Hinely.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's suggestions!

If you need assistance with the prostate cancer section please let me know.

The question could be framed as:

"Does Treatment of oligomet PC extend survival long term and/or delay the time to next salvage therapy?"

Thank you Cristin. I think it would be of interest in one of these sessions to hear more about the role (if any) of "radical radiotherapy" in the setting of oligometastatic breast cancer.

I think a good place to start to find topics to discuss at the Micro Level, would be specifically to look at the The Gray Zone sections of the Red Journal.  Usually a complex or controversial case is introduced by one or a few people, and then some expert opinions on how to treat these cases are given.

Perhaps, target the people who introduce these controversial cases and ask them if they would want to lead the discussion.

This may also be a good opportunity to invite our surgical oncology and medical oncology colleagues to lead  and participate in these discussions  in order to offer their perspective and to continue to establish a multidisciplinary approach to treating these types of cases.

In no particular order, here are a few people who could be wonderful at leading these types of discussions.

    Dr. Alison Tree
    Dr. David Palma
    Dr. Puneeth Iyengar
    Dr. Bruce Haffty
    Dr. Welela Tereffe
    Dr. Drew Moghanaki
    Dr. Brendan Stiles
    Dr. Daniel Spratt
    Dr. Sue Yom
    Dr. Shankar Siva
    Dr. Nick James
    Dr. Nancy Lee
    Dr. Helen Shih
    Dr. Christopher Sweeney
    Dr. Krisha Howell
    Dr. Christopher Parker
    Dr. Sushil Beriwal
    Dr. Sunil Krishan
    Dr. Malika Siker
    Dr. Laura Dawson
    Dr. H. Jack West
    Dr. Brian Kavanagh
    Dr. Roger Stupp
    Dr. Neha Vapiwala

Thanks for mentioning the Gray Zone, Dr. Motwani! I wanted to provide a link to our published cases for easy access in case anyone wanted to take a look. Feel free to let me know if the journal staff can provide further assistance here.

    Cristin,

Great idea to poll the membership!

I would like to see "MR guided Radiation Therapy" as a table topic with emphasis on in-room systems.

I would also like to see "Novel non-oncologic applications for Radiation Therapy".

    Thanks!
